Ms Clara Fong is the Guest Speaker of the Centre for Special Educational Needs and Inclusive Education at The Education University of Hong Kong. Besides, she has been ready to stand by the Education Bureau (EDB) running the Thematic Course on Supporting Students with SEN since 2010.

Having much experience of consultancy and training for the teachers to handle children with disabilities in various organisations, including local NGOs, Ms Clara Fong is now further engaged in not a few activities as regards special needs and inclusion with PBS approach. All such services cover the Program Producer of Radio Television Hong Kong (RTHK) - Community Involvement Broadcasting Service (CIBS) - “Listen & Talk 1-3” (39 episodes) and “You’re in Bright, I’m in Dark” which are financed through The Community Involvement Broadcasting Fund (CIBF), The Tin Ka Ping Foundation and The Otic Foundation respectively. Recently she won the RTHK's CIBS Top 10 Program (Listen & Talk 3) Award 2018 to further enhance her confidence in achieving significant successes in the years to come.

Dr. Li Wei “Willy” Wong fell in love with the subject of human behavior (aka Behavior Analysis) back in 2004 when he took a class in Applied Behavior Analysis at California State University, Los Angeles. He graduated and received his master’s degree in Applied Behavior Analysis in the year of 2008 at the same university. In 2014, he received his Ph. D. in Applied Behavior Analysis at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology and conducted his dissertation study in Parent Education. Dr. Wong is a Board Certified Behavior Analyst-Doctoral Level (BCBA-D).

In the past 10 years, Dr. Wong had worked with children and young adults ranging from 3- to 18-year-old. He had held different positions at different behavioral agencies. For example, he practiced as behavioral interventionist and clinical supervisor at Autism Spectrum Therapies (AST), Wellsprings, Inc., and Intercare Therapy Inc. Additionally, he also served as the Regional Clinical Director of the Inland Empire and Los Angeles regions at Creative Solutions for Hope and ICan-B. Dr. Wong is the Founder & Clinical Director at ICan-B (Hong Kong). In addition to working directly with children and young adults, Dr. Wong also served as practicum instructor at The Chicago School of Professional Psychology and adjunct faculty at National University to teach concepts of Applied Behavior Analysis to master level students.

Dr. Wong’s career goal is to take what he had learned about human behavior in school and apply the knowledge to make positive impact in the society. Throughout his career, he had worked with many children with developmental disabilities. He is always amazed by how much progress these children made after receiving early intervention and behavioral therapy services. Therefore, Dr. Wong is especially interested in helping young children with developmental disabilities and making positive changes in their life and surroundings.

She started her career in the United States, having gained a Master of Arts Degree in Psychology with an emphasis in Behavior Analysis from Western Michigan University. In the United States, she went on to work with children with developmental disabilities in both classroom and in-home settings working as a behavior technician at a public preschool and then as a program supervisor for an agency offering in home support. Moving back to China, she had also worked in a multidisciplinary team as a behavior consultant providing behavior support plan to children from diverse backgrounds with various developmental needs in school settings.

Having lived and worked in China, and the United States, Siqi has in depth experience of working with children and families of different cultural backgrounds.

Daiz started her career working with children with autism in Vancouver in 2001. Her passion and drive to pursue research and best practices in implementation are fueled by the unwavering dedication of families to do the best for their children.

Daiz received extensive training in Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Positive Behavior Support (PBS) at the University of British Columbia and received her BCBA credential in 2012. Since then, she has been active in the professional community and presented at numerous national and international conferences. She is also currently involved in research on video modeling, social skills instruction, and distance family PBS consultation.

In 2017, Daiz founded her practice, Social Collaborative, in California. Social Collaborative takes a person and family centered approach to autism intervention and emphasizes using a collaborative teaming model with parents to develop PBS plans that are culturally and contextually sound. Social Collaborative also work to educate parents and empower them to support their children to increase their overall quality of life.

Elaine Lee is a Board Certified Behaviour Analyst (BCBA). She currently serves as a behaviour consultant at P.L.A.I. Behaviour Consulting supporting children with SEN and challenging behaviours in both home, school and centre-based settings in Hong Kong and Mainland China. She received her Master of Applied Psychology (Diverse Learning Needs) from Polytechnic University of Hong Kong and her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology from Settle University. Elaine has been working with individuals with SEN and challenging behaviours since 2013 and has trained hundreds of therapists. Her passion is to support all children to become an active participant in the society.
